VELIO TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing VELIO or upgrading to the VELIO+ autonomous steering system, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
2. MEDICAL AND BIOLOGICAL DISCLAIMER
VELIO is an advanced fitness, logistics, and nutritional routing engine. It is not a medical device, nor does it provide medical advice.
- The system's recommendations (including the Kinetic Pivot, Metabolic Routing, and CNS Load management) are designed for healthy adults seeking performance optimization.
- You are solely responsible for your physical safety. If an autonomously generated workout prescribes a movement that causes pain, or if a prescribed fasting window contradicts a medical condition, you must override the system.
- Consult a licensed physician before beginning any new training or metabolic protocol, especially if you have pre-existing health conditions.
3. SUBSCRIPTION, BILLING, AND V≡LIO+
The V≡LIO app is free to download. V≡LIO+ is an optional auto-renewing subscription sold only through the Apple App Store (in-app purchase). There is no web checkout.
- Title: V≡LIO+ (monthly).
- Length: One month per billing period.
- Price: The price Apple shows in the app for your country or region before you confirm purchase (US $49/month as of August 2026; other storefronts show Apple’s equivalent). The app never invents a price — it reads the live StoreKit product.
- Free trial: Where Apple offers an introductory price, new subscriptions include a free one-month period as shown on the purchase screen. When that period ends, the subscription renews at the then-current monthly price unless you cancel. Eligibility is determined by Apple (typically one intro per Apple ID).
- Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial if one applies.
- Auto-renewal: The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- Management: You may manage the subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings after purchase, or via Manage subscription in the app. We do not cancel App Store billing when you delete your V≡LIO account — you must cancel with Apple. Unused time in a paid period is generally not refunded except as required by law.
- Restore: Use Restore Purchases in the app to re-link an existing Apple subscription to a V≡LIO account.
- Organization access: Some accounts receive V≡LIO+ through an organization or complimentary grant. That is not an App Store purchase and is not billed through Apple.
4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT
To ensure the Predictive Periodization Engine functions correctly, you agree to provide accurate biological baselines and maintain truthful inputs regarding your "Battle Rhythm" and physical state. Deliberately falsifying telemetry may result in mathematically incorrect kinetic or metabolic prescriptions, for which VELIO assumes no liability.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND ARCHITECTURE
The VELIO application, the "Two-Brain" routing architecture, the Predictive Periodization Engine algorithms, our proprietary "VELIO Score" for restaurant compliance, and all related code and UI/UX designs are the exclusive intellectual property of VELIO. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial biological optimization.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VELIO, its founders, and its engineering team shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including physical injury, metabolic distress, or failure to meet a specific fitness target—resulting from the use or inability to use the autonomous coaching system.
